Field Technician
Internship
We have Technician openings. Experience is not required, we will train. There is a 60 – 90 day trial period through our internship program. If you have the desire to learn on-the-job skills in IT with computer repair and fieldwork, we would like to hear from you. Some of the skills/duties you’ll learn are low voltage cabling, satellite installations, and network installations, among other IT-related work. You will walk away with skills in computer repairs, customer service, and communications. Need to be able to follow instructions and think on their feet to troubleshoot. This is a physical job that includes working outside on roofs, in basements, and in crawl spaces. Candidates must be able to work on ladders, scissor lifts, and boom lifts. They must be able to handle lifting up to 50 lbs. Punctuality, organization, and excellent verbal and written communication skills are needed as paperwork and reports are to be completed correctly and on time, as well as reporting to service calls, is a necessity. Candidates must be able to travel for service calls that can be on a daily basis. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is required.
The trial period lasts 60 – 90 days. Individuals who excel will have the opportunity to move into a full-time paid position.
Required skills/qualifications:

Schedule:
We are a Monday – Friday business with 9 – 5 customer hours. However, flexibility is needed outside of these hours to assist customers and complete service calls. Assisting customers can go long and service calls must be completed before leaving the job site.
