Big Lots was opening new locations and Geeks at Work / Computer Tamers was contracted to build out these new stores. The projects consisted of POS installations, low voltage cabling, AP installation, CCTV installation and rack installation. Cabling was run for all POS systems, cameras and AP’s. After which, installation and configuration of new POS systems, installation AP’s in ceiling, a new network rack was also installed and configured. Projects were under strict QA guidelines.
Geeks at Work / Computer Tamers have been contracted over the years to assist in multiple projects at multiple McDonalds locations to install upgraded Wi-Fi, new network, store re-models, drive through equipment, etc.
Mast Farm Inn is a selected Historic Hotels of America five-star bed and breakfast located in Valle Crucis North Carolina. Geeks at Work / Computer Tamers completely re-worked and re-built the entire networking infrastructure of the Inn and all of its associated properties. Geeks at Work / Computer Tamers brought in a new ISP that tripled the Inn’s current data all the while reducing the price by half. With more and more guests demanding reliable internet, a faster and wider pipe to the internet was required. This included a property-wide Wi-Fi system that seamlessly carried guests throughout the property.
Acadia’s new campus buildout included new low voltage data drops (over 400), POTS lines (over a dozen), AP installations, and a new network rack installation.
Geeks at Work / Computer Tamers was contracted to assist in the remodel of Rite Aid stores that were being converted to Walgreens. This consisted of Low Voltage wiring, CCTV installation, VoIP installation, AP installation, etc.
Project included a major upgrade to VoIP phone system. Work consisted of multiple new data drops, router and switch installations, and new phone installations that included training.
Multiple new American Eagle Outfitters store build outs, which included Low Voltage Cabling, server installation, POS installation, CCTV installation and Wi-Fi installation.
